Kära Kropp!

Kära Kropp!, is a site-specific performance choreographed especially for Norrtälje Konsthall in Sweden and was performed on the 10th -14th of February 2009.
The work was developed in response to Finnish artist Heli Rekula’s exhibition, in collaboration with dancer Ina Dokmo and with composed music by musician/composer Salla Hakkola.
Kära Kropp! draws it's inspiration from the connection between body and space. Looking at the physical awareness in different surroundings, and how this may leave different traces in our bodies, it explores these ideas from both an architectural and physical approach. Kära Kropp! is a performance using both text and movement.
Kära Kropp! was performed at Norrtälje Konsthall as an initiative to introduce dance in a less conventional dance spaces, and to challenge the way we look at dance as artform.
.
Choreography: Sara Lindström
Performer: Ina Dokmo
Music: Salla Hakkola

Supported by the culture fund for Sweden and Finland, Roslagens Sparbanks stiftelse, Roslagens Kulturskola and Norrtälje Konsthall.
