Impuls 2009

Impuls was a site-specific promenade performance moving through the city of Norrtälje, made in collaboration with a group of teenage girls aged 14 to 18 years old.  

With inspiration from the city’s architecture and public spaces, the performance developed from explorations on relations between our bodies and how these spaces inform, and forms us.

Using dancing and choreography to apply our bodies to these spaces, Impuls was both a practice on how to claim space as well as a way to look at these spaces with new eyes and experiences.
